Products described as local, local-first, or on-device

When we describe a product or feature as local, local-first, or on-device, our intent is for the identified content or processing to remain on the user's device as described in that product's documentation and privacy disclosures, rather than being sent to SmartChat Innovations for routine remote storage or processing.

VoiceVault

VoiceVault is designed around local control. Private memory content such as journals, recordings, transcripts, photos, videos, scans, sketches, tags, collections, and related memory data is designed to remain on the user's device rather than being uploaded to SmartChat Innovations for storage or AI processing.

If a user chooses to export, share, copy, back up, or transmit content using device, operating-system, storage-provider, or third-party features, the destination service may process that content under its own terms and privacy practices.

5. Artificial Intelligence Features

Some SmartChat Innovations products may include artificial intelligence or machine-learning features. The data practices for those features depend on the product's architecture and will be described in the applicable product documentation or privacy notice.

For products or features expressly described as using local or on-device AI, the identified private content is processed on the user's device as described for that product. SmartChat Innovations does not use private VoiceVault memory content to train external or public AI models.

We may use non-personal, aggregated, diagnostic, crash, or performance information when available and lawfully collected to improve software quality, provided that such use is consistent with the applicable product disclosures.

6. Sharing of Information & Service Providers

We do not sell personal information for money. We may disclose personal information when reasonably necessary to operate our business, including to:

• Website, hosting, form, CRM, automation, email, communications, storage, security, and infrastructure providers.
• Payment processors, app stores, and transaction providers involved in purchases.
• Professional advisers, contractors, or vendors who need information to perform services for us and are subject to appropriate obligations.

Do not send full credit-card numbers, bank-account credentials, or payment passwords through our website contact form or ordinary email.

Providing a phone number through the contact form does not by itself enroll you in promotional SMS marketing. You may use the unsubscribe instructions in a marketing email or recognized opt-out methods for marketing SMS messages when applicable.

We may still send non-marketing communications that are necessary to complete a transaction, respond to a request, provide support, or administer an existing service.
